One of nine lodges, this lovely property enjoys a fabulous location on a working farm. It is tucked behind the sand dunes from the beautiful beach, which has views across Embleton Bay to Dunstanburgh Castle. The local area is known for bird watching and the National Trust owns most of the pretty village and surrounding countryside. The 'square' is the heart of the old village with a popular country pub serving food and second beachside pub/restaurant with its own micro-brewery. Beach walking to explore Beadnell Bay and Craster will invigorate and super golf courses, cycling routes and days trips to nearby Alnwick, Bamburgh Castle and magical Holy Island, linked to the mainland by a causeway will appeal to everyone.

As you enter the lodge into the bright and spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner you can’t help but notice the wall to wall windows at the far end of the lounge with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The bright and stylish kitchen has everything you need, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, the dining table has seating for the whole party to enjoy a meal together. The lounge has comfortable sofas so you can relax and catch up after a day out exploring, or watch a film together on the Smart TV/DVD. The large patio doors open out onto private decking. There’s also a convenient separate WC. Head upstairs to the first floor and you will find two tastefully decorated bedrooms; one double and one twin, with gently sloping ceilings and ample head height. Both bedrooms have dual windows and countryside views making them bright and welcoming. The bedrooms share a contemporary shower room with a shower and WC.

Outside, the private decking has garden furniture to enjoy alfresco dining and morning coffee. The garden faces south west so can be a real sun trap in the afternoons and evenings. There is also a shared, enclosed children’s play area with swings, a slide and climbing frame which will keep the younger children entertained for hours. There is parking for one car plus plenty of additional parking nearby.
