You will soon be able to relax and unwind staying in this delightful timber-built lodge. You are only 100 metres from the expanse of golden, sandy beach where you can walk, play, paddle and enjoy a picnic. Amble up the beach beneath the ancient ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle with breath-taking views across Embleton Bay towards. Stroll along the coastal path from Low Newton to Beadnell, play a round of golf at Dunstanburgh’s scenic golf course, visit the castles at nearby Alnwick and Bamburgh and watch the water sports on Beadnell beach. You have two pubs in the village, each serving good food and a lovely nature reserve close by.
Access to the property is via four steps up to the raised veranda and into a spacious hallway. The long, galley style kitchen/diner lies off the hallway with a range of facilities, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. You can sit together for meals at the dining table or plan your days’ out exploring the area. The cosy, dual aspect lounge has views of the shared lawned gardens with two comfortable leather sofas to relax back on after a busy day, sit and watch some TV or listen to some music on the Radio/CD Player, there is also a wood burner effect electric fire set into the fireplace adding to the ambience. The bedrooms and bathroom are off the hallway; the master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.
Outside, you can sit out on the porch/veranda or head into the shared gardens and a short stroll will take you to the outdoor children’s play area with swings, slide and a climbing frame, where your children will be able to have fun and make friends. There is private parking for one car next to the property with plenty of additional free parking on site should you need it.
