You can find a wide selection of independent shops and restaurants in nearby Seahouses and Bamburgh and you can play a round of golf at Dunstanburgh Castle’s scenic golf club.
Approaching the property via the driveway, you will notice your single-storey cottage lies nestled in the sand dunes that stretch as far as you can see. The open-plan living space has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and large windows to give the rooms a bright and spacious feel. Settle into one of the leather sofas and enjoy views of the shared garden area from your patio doors or watch some TV on the TV/DVD or listen to some music on the iPod docking station. The open-plan space ensures that even if you are preparing your meal you can still chat with family or friends. The stylish kitchen has a range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a washer/dryer ensure your stay feels like a home from home. The dining table seats six so you can sit together at mealtimes. Follow the hallway to find the three tastefully furnished bedrooms. Younger guests can burn off any last energy in the large outdoor shared play area, with swings, slides, see-saws and a climbing frame. Parking for two cars is next to the cottage while ample additional parking spaces are available close by.
