Situated just 100 metres from the beach, this single-storey cottage is warm and cosy with thick cottage walls offering peace and calm making this a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday by the sea. An impressive beach walk with breath-taking views leads to Beadnell Bay, home to various water sports, rock pooling and picnics in the sand dunes. There is a lovely nature reserve in the village, as well as two good pubs serving meals. You can walk or drive to Craster fishing village for a seafood treat and visits to Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Seahouses Harbour, Alnwick Castle and Gardens are all a short drive.
Access the cottage through the double doors leading into the conservatory where you can kick off your sandy shoes with a couple of easy chairs and a dining table where you can enjoy breakfast and a morning coffee overlooking the shared, lawned gardens while planning your days out and about. This room leads into the well-equipped kitchen where you have an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine to make your stay easy and comfortable. Heading into the lounge/diner, there are comfortable leather sofas to relax on with an flame-effect electric fire and TV/DVD to watch your favourite film or why not listen to some music on the CD player. The dining table has seating for four. A hallway leads to the two bedrooms where you can enjoy a great night’s sleep after a busy day exploring. The master bedroom has a double bed and a dressing table so you can get ready at leisure. The second bedroom has twin beds and wardrobe storage. The bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Outside, there is a patio area with outdoor dining furniture and access to shared, lawned gardens. Children can visit the enclosed, shared play area with swings, a slide and climbing frame. Parking for one car is next to the cottage with plenty of space on-site for additional cars if needed.
