Set in a quiet cul-de-sac just a short stroll from a sandy beach and a bustling harbour, this delightful coastal cottage invites space-seeking couples or small families with the dog in tow for a memorable getaway on the Northumberland coast. With the heart of Seahouses less than a mile away, guests are never far from a charming choice of seaside bars, restaurants and a popular golf course. Busy with colourful fishing boats, Seahouses Harbour makes for a lovely spot to sit with an ice cream or picnic and is also set just under a mile from the cottage. From here you can book a daytrip cruise to the Farne Islands to bask in the region’s impressive collection of seabirds, seal colonies and puffins. Walkers and fellow lovers of the seaside will be happy to hear that the county’s scenic coastal path is just over half a mile from the property, offering happy hikers a choice of memorable routes to either Bamburgh Castle (2.5 miles) or the village of Beadnell (2.5 miles) and beyond. For more quaint seaside towns and villages nearby head to Benthall (3 miles), High and Low Newton-by-the-Sea (both within 7.5 miles), and Craster (11 miles).

A shallow step leads to the front door of this immaculate property with chic flooring throughout and plenty of natural light flooding in through the large windows in all the rooms. Head down the hallway, passing both bedrooms, to reach the light and airy, open-plan living space. Calming, neutral tones and ocean-inspired artwork make this space a delight to unwind in; starting in the lounge with its sumptuous sofas arranged around the Smart TV and stylish coffee table. Choose a book or boardgame from the shelf in this inviting space, or head over to the kitchen to keep the chef company as they whip up a feast. With views over the peaceful rear garden and decor inspired by the ocean, the well-appointed kitchen boasts all you need to whip up a feast for your loved ones, who can gather in the nearby by dining space to plan the next adventure over dinner. Leave the garden doors open in the dining area and let that welcoming sea breeze flow through the living space. For further relaxation or quiet time away from the cottage’s main living space, guests will find another delightful lounge upstairs set beneath the eaves. Bathed in sunlight through the windows and skylights, you’ll find cosy seating arranged around another large, Smart TV, as well as wonderful views of Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands. When it’s time for bed, guests will find two bedrooms on the ground floor, both of which offer chic, coastal decor, and tranquil views over the garden. Choose from a king-size room with a well-equipped en-suite shower room, or a cosy twin bedroom which is served by the family shower room.

Outside, there is a south-facing, enclosed lawn garden with a Jack and Jill seat where you can sit and listen to the local bird life. Fabulous property, very well presented and comfortable. The accommodation was spotless on our arrival and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and has a good sized fridge & freezer. The utility room meant that we could leave sandy boots and wet coats there keeping the rest of the property clean & tidy! The rear garden is fully encloRead moresed so ideal for holidaying with a dog. The beach was a 5 minute walk away and Seahouses only a 15 minute walk. I highly recommend this property. Hide

Immediate surrounds were very suburban despite glimpses of Bamburgh Castle and The Farnes from upstairs lounge. Kitchen and rads suitable for younger clients who can master obscure electronics.
