Located in the heart of the historic charming coastal village of Seahouses. Known for its picturesque beauty and rich maritime heritage with its idyllic harbour just a short stroll away with stunning views of the North Sea, and bustling fishing industry, the village exudes a quaint and timeless appeal. Seahouses also boast an array of eateries, coffee shops, tea rooms, gift shops, amusements and pubs. Enjoy a round of golf at the local course or explore the award-winning St Aidan’s Beach, with 2 miles of splendid sands. Take a boat trip and explore the nearby Farne Islands, home to a diverse range of seabirds and seals. Or visit Bamburgh and its magnificent castle, only 3 miles away!

Step inside this charming, traditional period stone-built house which is nestled within the heart of the coastal splendour of Seahouses. The hall is the perfect space to store your outdoor clothing before moving through to the light and bright lounge. Relax after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the comfortable sofa, snuggle up in front of the cosy log burner, and enjoy a great film on the Smart TV. Also located in the lounge is a dining table, ideal for family gatherings and a good spot for a game of cards. The well-equipped kitchen is the ideal spot to cook up a storm with direct access out to the courtyard with a seating area. Heading up the stairs you will find a spacious master king-size bedroom with ample storage space and a TV and a cosy twin bedroom. Finally completing the accommodation is the shower room.
Venturing outside with direct access from the kitchen and around the side of the property there is a shared courtyard with a table and chairs for al fresco dining or lazy evening star gazing.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

The cottage was beautiful. It was warm and welcoming and felt right at home. I would highly recommend this property. Brilliant location, handy for shops, pubs and the beach.

We warmly recommend Puffin House. Clean, comfortable, attractive, well furnished - and the flowers were fresh! Parking was easy and the owners were very responsive and helpful. The double bedroom is very spacious and the stairs are wide and easy to climb. The local garage sells a large bag of logs for 7..

Cottage is ideally situated just a short walk from seafront and harbour.Private parking at side,which was very helpful.Cottage very nicely decorated with all the comforts of home.Nice rear courtyard with seating to eat and just chill out. Excellent relaxing stay,thanks so much.

Puffin House was the perfect base for our holiday, 1 minute walk from the harbour & 5 mins from the high street. It was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. There were also little extras -sachets of essentials, a pint of milk in the fridge and we really appreciated the goodies and fresh flowers too - a little luxury! The sunny wRead moreeather meant we made daily use of the outside area and the parking space made life easy. The owners were so friendly & helpful, a wonderful holiday. Hide

Puffin House is in a very convenient location, just minutes from the harbour and on a quiet street. There is an excellent pub two doors away serving really good food, but make sure you book in advance as it is very popular! The house was extremely clean and we were well provided for. The welcome basket and flowers were a lovely addition. We slept vRead moreery well and enjoyed sitting on the patio which is a real suntrap. Hide

The location of the house was fantastic. Very close to the harbour, and the main street shops. Easy to get out to surrounding area House well equipped. Beds very comfortable and double bedroom spacious

Puffin House was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location was perfect. Also, great communication from the owners and agents prior to arriving. We hope to return for another stay soon.

A lovely cottage, brilliantly situated in Seahouses with lovely owners who were happy to help at any point during our stay. Cosy, comfortable and felt like home.

Puffin House was immaculately clean and well equipped. Although there was no on site parking a car parking permit was supplied for a car park close by and we were able to park there every day. Enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Very nice owners. The extras i.e on our arrival- wine , toffee and flowers were much appreciated. Would recommend a stay. Shops nearby. Car Parks always full - we managed to park at the side of the cottage.

An ideal cottage for 2 of us in an excellent location in Seahouses. Location was also great for getting to other parts of the coast . We appreciated the flowers and plants and also the welcome basket.
