Located amongst twelve other tasteful, eco-lodges, this complex is where the original stones used to build Bamburgh Castle were quarried over 1400 years ago. Less than 2 miles from Bamburgh’s vibrant village shops, renowned eateries, Grace Darling Museum, and the fabulous, sandy beach there’s lots to see. From Bamburgh, walk the coastal path to nearby Seahouses for a wildlife-spotting boat trip from the harbour around the Farne Islands. Head to beautiful Beadnell Bay for brunch at the beachside café, pub/restaurants, and a café/bistro, try water sports lessons, rock pooling, picnics in the sand dunes, and the wonderful walk towards Low Newton-by-the-Sea. Cross the causeway to explore Holy Island’s Lindisfarne Castle, enjoy island walks and the local birdlife, and visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens.
This impressive, detached lodge with magnificent views over open countryside towards Bamburgh’s Castle and coastline has been tastefully furnished and finished to a high standard to ensure you have a memorable and relaxing holiday.
