Very comfortable house plenty of space and great position for going out to walk sections of the costal path as we did. Also ideal facilities with all the ensuite rooms and plenty of drying space when the wet walkers return.

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables in Swinhoe. Everything was immaculate, very comfortable and well suited for a large family plus dog! The kitchen and living room are roomy, well kitted out and welcoming after a long day out at the beach. The beds are very comfortable and the showers good. There are loads of useful and nice creature comforts (Read moree.g board games, local guides, welcome treats for humans and pets) provided. The location is perfect for getting to all the best beaches and sites. Hide

Very nice house and very comfortable but it was necessary to drive everywhere although nowhere was too far. It would have been nice to be able to walk to a pub. The house is dog friendly but the garden is barely suitable for a dog as there is no grass. Plenty of beaches nearby to walk dogs though.

Lovely holiday in an amazing property and a beautiful peaceful location. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Very spacious and each bedroom has its own modern bathroom which was a huge bonus.

The house was spotlessly clean and everything was of high quality, apart from, in our opinion the mattress on the double bed. It was very uncomfortable. The outside space is extremely small and all paved, No lawn., something to consider if you have dogs. Also, nowhere to walk with your dogs, as the roads can be quite busy, with no pavement. We all absolutely loved The Stables. The cottage was gorgeous so clean and warm. The cottage has an amazing stock of all kitchen utensils and is big and spacious. Our doggies loved it too, spent all their time with us in the kitchen and went to the beach in Beadnall most mornings. This was a great place central for exploring Northumberland. High standard, spotlessly clean accommodation with a very good range of equipment, even dog towels. Some lovely extras included biscuits and coffee bags. The paved garden is very tiny. The location is pleasant but there is nothing at all in walking distance. Beautiful beach a short car trip away in Beadnell.

The cottage was everything that we needed for our annual family getaway. The kitchen and lounge are large social spaces with plenty of seating and the large fridge/freezer held all our food (and wine!) easily. Everywhere was well decorated and finished and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

We stayed for a week 4th August -11th August and we can not fault anything. The place was very clean and had everything you could possible want. We all slept amazing as the beds are so comfy and the lounge was cosy and relaxing. Plenty of space inside and outside and not far from the beach. Our only negative is that we only stayed for a week.
