This lovely, quiet property is tucked away in the old Seahouses area and offers easy access to all the local attractions, both coastal and countryside, you will have so much to see and do. The shops, pubs and restaurants in Seahouses will offer you plenty of choices too. The busy harbour is always a fascinating place to be, take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands to see puffins and seals. From here, you are only three miles from magnificent Bamburgh Castle, beach and village with a range of independent shops; and the Grace Darling Museum is well worth a visit. Spend time at Beadnell Bay, enjoy a picnic in the shelter of the sand dunes - this is a perfect family beach for a stroll, with views towards the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Visit the market town of Alnwick for its famous castle and gardens and pop to Low Newton for its stunning beach walks and microbrewery pub.
Access the cottage via the back door and small courtyard where you can park your car. The light and bright kitchen/diner features an electric hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, microwave, cafetiere and washing machine and there is also a dining table with four chairs where you can enjoy meals in together. Walking through to the cosy lounge you will find a comfortable sofa and two matching armchairs where you can cosy up in front of the wood burner. For your entertainment, there is a Smart TV/DVD so you can catch up on some of your favourites during your holiday. The conservatory offers alternative seating for your morning coffee or an evening drink and overlooks the patio garden. Heading upstairs, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom off the landing; a king-size bedroom with plenty of storage and a hairdryer. The second bedroom is a twin (2 singles) which can be made up as a zip-linked super king on request. The bathroom has a contemporary suite with a shower over the bath, WC and heated towel rail.
Outside there is a patio garden where you can sit and relax with a low fence on either side and a garden gate leading out to an unadopted footpath for walks into Seahouses’ main shopping and restaurant area. There is a lockable shed to store bikes and seaside equipment. Parking for one small or medium size car only due to limited space to park and turn (rear of property)
