Beadnell is a delightful coastal village which offers a choice of pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as a picturesque harbour, 16th century tower and old lime kilns. You will be close to the stunning horseshoe-shaped beach, which extends for over 3 miles. Beadnell Bay is renowned for an array of water sports, including surfing, body boarding, water-skiing and sailing. From Beadnell you can take the beautiful coastal path to the lovely village of Seahouses, or head inland to the popular market town of Alnwick, with its famous castle and gardens. The popular villages of Warkworth, Bamburgh and Craster are all nearby. You can also take boat trips out to the Farne Islands and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

On entering this spacious dormer bungalow you will find yourself in the attractive and welcoming lounge with plenty of comfortable seating, TV/DVD and wood burner effect electric fire.  The light and airy lounge is perfect for relaxing in after a wonderful day. You will also find a charming dining area where you can enjoy a family meal in style and that leads through into the conservatory. The conservatory provides a great additional space to unwind in. Moving into the attractively designed kitchen, you will find it fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster and a pantry style cupboard. Exploring the ground floor further you will find two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size sleigh bed and there’s a twin room with pine sleigh beds. You will also find a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Upstairs are two further dormer bedrooms, both of them cosy twin rooms with views over the village towards the sea. A shower room with a walk-in shower and WC completes the space.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the enclosed, paved garden at the rear of the property with outdoor dining and garden furniture. There is also a garage which houses a washing machine and a tumble dryer and has plenty of room for drying wet suits, storing bikes, diving equipment, golf clubs and so on. There is ample parking space on the drive for two cars, and there is also room for a further vehicle on the grass in front of the cottage.

Pleasant, spacious cottage in great location. Nice modern bathroom and shower-room. The upstairs shower-room and bedrooms are particularly spacious. Very convenient location for shop, beach and restaurants. The secure garden was great for dogs and children, however we were disappointed that both front and back gardens had a significant amount of weRead moreeds, some 2-3 feet high. The back patio did not look anything like the picture on the site, due to the weeds, we have recommended this is attended to. Hide

The cottage was lovely and very well laid out. Bedrooms were roomy and good that teenagers could be upstairs leaving downstairs to us. Conservatory was a boon while football was on which I and granddaughter did not want to watch. Ideally placed for village, local eating spots and the beach. Peaceful location.

Lovely sunny location, excellent cafes a short walk away. We loved the Courtyard for breakfast. Rooms spacious and bright. A huge walking shower was a real bonus. The bus stop was close alllowing for linear coastal walks and we love Alnwick which is a 15 drive away. Bamburgh is a lovely beach walk away and so is Craster with a bus back.

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space for 8 people, nice and quiet and has everything you need. The garage comes in very handy if you have bikes, kids stuff etc. Close to everything Beadnell has to offer too. Would visit again.
