Beadnell is a delightful coastal village which offers a choice of pubs, restaurants and shops, as well as a picturesque harbour, 16th century tower and old lime kilns. You will be close to the stunning horseshoe-shaped beach, which extends for over 3 miles. Beadnell Bay is renowned for an array of water sports, including surfing, body boarding, water-skiing and sailing. From Beadnell you can take the beautiful coastal path to the lovely village of Seahouses, or head inland to the popular market town of Alnwick, with its famous castle and gardens. The popular villages of Warkworth, Bamburgh and Craster are all nearby. You can also take boat trips out to the Farne Islands and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.
