This harbour front cottage looks out onto popular Seahouses harbour. Located close to the beach and the village centre, this former fisherman’s cottage is a crown jewel in this bustling fishing village. Seahouses offers access to the spectacular Farne Islands, home to exciting wildlife, including grey seals, puffins and other rare bird species. Holy Island – home to Lindisfarne Castle – is accessible by car and there are miles of walking and cycling routes leading to the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Alnwick, Dunstaburgh and Warkworth. For those wanting to bring their clubs, Seahouses also has a full 18-hole golf course.

This reverse-level cottage is full of original features all the facilities a holiday home might need. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms – a double and a twin – that share a contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath, with WC. The utility room with washer/dryer can also be found on this floor. Heading up to the first floor is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has a feature stone wall and access to the balcony. In the lounge area relax in front of the wood burner effect electric fire and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV, or relax with a good book and listen to some music on the Bluetooth speaker. In the dining area there is a dining table which seats four and the kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, small freezer and a microwave.

There is a balcony which is accessed through the French windows from the lounge, offering an ideal place for an fresco drink at the outdoor table with seating while enjoying the spectacular, panoramic views of the harbour and beyond. There is allocated off-road parking for one car.

We had a lovely stay at Harbourside , the cottage had everything we could need and was nice and clean, the bedding was fresh and white :) What an amazing location, beautiful views of the harbour, fantastic pubs all around for food/drink.

Superb location, good inventory including extra things for our furry friend. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone visiting this part of Northumberland. Plenty of good places to eat locally. Great to watch the activities in the harbour & to see the Farne Islands in the distance.

A superb and comfortable ottage of a high standard with great views, in a unexpetacbly quite location. Very highly recommended. The upside-down layout is quirky but makes best of the great views (the on-line photo's are what you will find). Impressed, and we will come back when next in this magical area.

Really comfortable cottage with everything you need and the best view to sit and watch the busy harbour . We would absolutely recommend it and hope to be back soon .
